Frozen - Full of Warmth!

Oh, do I have a wonderful movie to share with you!  It's Disney's Frozen!  Loved it!  Now, most of you know, I'm an Arizona gal thru and thru, so anything to do with snow or ice leaves me cold (you know I had to go there!)  Frozen opens up with some very cool special effects with snowflakes (cool.... get it?  Yep, went there again!)

Okay, okay enough puns.... Let me tell you about the movie!

"Walt Disney Animation Studios, the studio behind “Tangled” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” presents “Frozen,” a stunning big-screen comedy adventure. Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (voice of Josh Gad), Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom."

Frozen pulled me right into the story from the first moment!  I loved the animation, loved the interaction between the two sisters, and the 3D was spectacular.  I actually turned my face away so I wouldn't get hit with the icy blast, before I realized it was just a movie!  My daughter thought that was hilarious!

I loved the music, especially the song Elsa (Idina Menzel) sings..... wow!  My daughter actually walked out of the theater and bought the soundtrack on the way home!  She informed me this is her favorite movie now (she's 16).  I asked her why.  She was impressed with how Anna discovered true love (not gonna tell you, don't want to spoil it), she loved Kristoff, and she loved how Anna jumped right in to find a solution to a difficult problem (again... not gonna tell you.  You'll have to see the movie!)

We will definitely be seeing this again, and bringing the rest of the family.  Everyone will enjoy it!  My favorite is  cute little Olaf the Snowman.  Maybe snow isn't so bad...

Go see frozen, you'll leave feeling all warm and fuzzy, with a big smile on your face!

Disclosure:  I was given the opportunity to see this movie for the purpose of a review.  The opinions are all mine and free of charge!

Thor - Eye Candy Galore!

Wowza!  I saw Thor: The Dark World several days ago, and I'm still all a-twitter!  The movie was great, loved the plot, loved the action, loved the special effects, loved the plot twists!  But oh, the handsomeness factor was off the charts!

Here... let me share:

For you Thor Fans

And we can't forget Loki

Great Father - Son Shot

Mmmmm...

So, before I get carried away, this really is a great movie!

"Marvel’s "Thor: The Dark World" continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself.  In the aftermath of Marvel’s "Thor" and "Marvel’s The Avengers," Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos...but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. To defeat an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor sets upon his most dangerous and personal journey yet, forced into an alliance with the treacherous Loki to save not only his people and those he loves…but our universe itself."

See!  Is that a great plot or what!  The action literally kept me on the edge of my seat!  There are so many things I want to tell you, but I don't want to spoil the fun for you.  Lots of great battles, terrific action sequences, but poor London, England doesn't fair so well.   There's a great scene between Thor and Loki where they truly act like bickering brothers, very funny!  Malekith (the villain) is a great bad guy!  He's pretty menacing, then he gets the Aether, turns all gray, and then he is truly and completely creepy!  Nightmare creepy....

Go see Thor: the Dark World!  I highly recommend it! Don't forget to stay through the credits... there are TWO surprises for you!
