Aussan Natural* - they're just that good!

The other day I was walking past my son's bedroom and was accosted by a particularly nasty smell!  "What is that nasty smell?", I wondered.  As I cautiously sought out the cause of that noxious odor, I realized it was my son's shoes!  Whoowie, they smelled bad!

Aussan Natural* to the rescue!  I gingerly grabbed his shoe and sprayed the inside with the Shoe Odor Eliminator.  It instantly got rid of that icky smell!  My whole house smells better now that those shoes smell better!  This stuff really works.  It has a nice pepperminty smell that I really like!

Next we tried the Car Wash Concentrate!  What a good excuse to get the car washed!  We had fun washing the car and it looks great!  The thing I liked the most was that there were no streaks after we were finished, even on the windows!  We live on a dirt road and consequently our cars get really dirty.  The Aussan Natural* Car Wash Concentrate cut right through all that dirt and our car looks so clean!

Lastly I tried the Floor Cleaner Concentrate.  I have laminate floors in my kitchen and linoleum in the bathrooms.  The Floor Cleaner concentrate cleaned both types of floors very well.  I really liked it on my laminate as it didn't leave streaks or a film on the floor!  You can even use it non-diluted to get out really tough stains or dirt.

Aussan Natural* products are made from 100% natural, plant based ingredients. These products contain NO toxic chemicals and are safe for the environment, our families, and our pets.  They have a variety of products, including odor eliminators for dogs, cats, sports equipment, rooms, etc.  They also offer many different types of cleaning solutions, all natural!

I am really pleased with how effective all the products I tried are!  I really, really like the Shoe Odor Eliminator!

You can purchase these products online or in some stores in the East.  They are reasonably priced and a great size!  I was surprised how big the Car Wash Cleaner and the Floor Cleaner were!

Now, hold onto your hats, because you have a chance to win your own set of Aussan Natural products!  You can choose three products from the Aussan Natural line.  How completely cool is that?

Gyro Bowl - The Kid-Proof Spill Proof Bowl!

Let me introduce you to the Gyro Bowl! It is a bowl that can rotate 360 degrees to keep things from spilling!

I love my Gyro Bowl!  When it came, we put it through its' paces! We filled it with buttons and turned it upside down. Nothing fell out. We filled it with cereal, and turned it all around and upside down. Again, nothing fell out! How cool is that?!  The kids and I had a great time trying (unsuccessfully) to get it to spill!  I'm kind of mesmerized by the whole gyro thing!

The Gyro Bowl has an inner bowl that rotates as you move it.  It is Dishwasher Safe, and comes with a lid.  It would be a wonderful thing to keep your children's snacks in.  But I think it has other applications too.  It would be a great thing to hold screws and nails during projects.  It would be a great thing to have when you're crafting.  Then there would be no spilled beads all over the place (speaking from past experience)!

I really do love this little gizmo!  You can go check it out at www.GyroBowl.com and then order your own!  I think you'll love it too!

Hooray for the Holidays - Christmas DVDs!

You know how I feel about Veggie Tales (love them!) so when I was offered the chance to review another Veggie Tales DVD I jumped at the chance.  Then throw in some Christmas favorites from my childhood and I'm all over that!

The first one we watched was the Original Christmas Classics!  This set contains four of the most beloved holiday TV specials of all time, including the Rankin/Bass classics “Frosty the Snowman,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” and “Frosty Returns.”  Do you remember watching them as a kid?  I do, and it was one of my favorite things about Christmas!  Now I can watch them whenever I want, even on hot Arizona July days when I want to cool down!  I know it's October, but I've been walking around singing all the fun Christmas songs from these movies!

The Original Christmas Classics box set will be available wherever Blu-rays are sold for $44.99 SRP.

Next up is the Veggie Tales, The Little Drummer Boy.

In this Veggie-version of a holiday classic, Junior Asparagus stars as The Little Drummer Boy, a lonely child who finds the true meaning of Christmas when he stumbles upon the birth of the baby Jesus. A story of generosity, hope and love, this timeless tale will warm the hearts of children everywhere!

Bonus Features:
  • Audio Commentary
  • “The Little Drummer Boy” Music Video
  • Sing-Along Songs—“The 8 Polish Foods of Christmas” and “Can’t Smile Without Ewe”
  • Behind the Music of “The Little Drummer Boy”
  • Visit a Drum Factory with Junior
  • Family Activity—Make Your Own Drum
  • Interactive Book Preview—Christmas Is Finally Here
I loved this DVD!  The story was so sweet and who doesn't love Junior Asparagus?!  My son has watched this several times and really enjoys it!  Plus, now he drums all the time, on anything he can find to use as a drum!

Both of these are a great addition to your Holiday collection!  Can't wait to buy it?  Well, one of you lucky readers can win each of these - The Original Christmas Classics and Veggie Tales, The Little Drummer Boy!  Very cool, if you ask me!

Freschetta- Proud to Support Pink!

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month.  This is a subject near and dear to my heart as I've had family members and dear friends who are battling Breast Cancer.  Freschetta has a great new program I want to share with you.  It's called the Freschetta Proud to Support Pink Program.  They are trying to reach their goal of a $50,000 donation.

There is a code on every specially-marked package of Freschetta pizzas and Artisan Pizza crusts.  You can go to www.ProudToSupportPink.com, enter your code and Freschetta will donate $1 to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.  Check out the website! There are stories from people touched by Breast Cancer.  In addition, you can enter to win one of 50 pink iPod shuffles.  They are also donating 50 pink iPod shuffles each week to four cancer centers around America so that breast cancer patients can use them during treatments.  Very cool, if you ask me!

Freshcetta sent me a very cool kit that included a coupon to try Freschetta pizza (totally yummy)!  It also included two pairs of Freschetta Proud to Support Pink earphones.  One for me, and one to give away.

They have also generously offered the same kit to one of you lucky readers!  Again... very cool!

Real Steel - the Real Deal!

Real Steel - hmmm..... Robots?  Boxing?  That's what I thought when I first saw ads for the movie.  Then I had the opportunity to preview the movie with my family.  As we were driving there, my son was really excited to see the movie, my husband thought it would be good, my daughter just wanted some popcorn, and I was thinking, "Well, at least Hugh Jackman is in it."

Now, what do I think after seeing the movie?  I LOVE IT!  This is an amazing movie!  My son left the theater boxing and wanting to build a robot, my husband thought it was really good, my daughter mentioned she wanted to see it again and buy it when it came out, and me?  Well yes, Hugh Jackman was in it (worth the price of admission alone) Ü but I loved the movie.  And I don't even like boxing.

"A gritty, white-knuckle, action ride set in the near-future where the sport of boxing has gone high-tech, “Real Steel” stars Hugh Jackman as Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Dakota Goyo) to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback."

Yes, there are boxing robots, but the movie is so much more than that.  I loved the story between the father and the son, and I'm a sucker for a feel-good comeback movie.  The acting has great, and the visual effects were stunning.  There are a few cursewords spattered about in the movie, and there is one scene where Charlie gets beaten up and Max thrown to the ground.  Just wanted to let you know if you are bringing your kids.

I had to giggle... I was watching some trailers deciding which one to put in this review and I got excited all over again.  I want to go see this movie again!  I definitely recommend this movie!  Go see it, you'll love it!
To add to the coolness factor, I've been given the opportunity to have a giveaway!  One of you lucky readers will win these great items:

ITEMS FOR GIVEAWAY:
- REAL STEEL t-shirt in adult  sizes of S, M, L, XL
- REAL STEEL bottle opener
- REAL STEEL stickers
- REAL STEEL temporary tattoos

See, I told you it was cool!

Country Bob's - It's Just That Good!

Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce - yes, it's really All Purpose, and really, really good!  So I jumped at the chance to review this!

We really gave Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce a work-out!  We've used it on chicken, hamburgers, pork chops, chicken nuggets, and used it in some chili I made!  (Which was very yummy, by the way!)  It is the first thing my daughter grabs when she's looking for a dipping sauce.  It is really versatile. Great... now I'm hungry again!

There are some great recipes on Country Bob's website.  Check out the Oak Fired Carne Asada Pizza, yum!  (And yes, now I'm even hungrier!)

Country Bob's has lots of cool sauces including Spicy, Apple Chipotle, Honey Habanero, BBQ Sauce, and Seasoning Salt!

Now, here's my sadness... the closest store to me is over an hour away. But there's a solution for that! I can shop online and get this great stuff!

So, is your mouth watering yet? Well, I have a solution! Country Bob's has generously offered two of my readers the opportunity to win two bottles for Country Bob's Sauce! How cool is that!?
